A really fun action packed adventure. 3.5/5 stars.
This is a wonderful fantasy short story specifically targeted for a young adult audience. I actually brought up on my blog some time ago the idea that short stories could help interest children/teens in reading because they're accessible. This story is exactly that. It's engaging, fun and fast.

Slade and Wulfstan take a break from their warrior training to go on what they believe will be a fun adventure. Taking along Slade's sister, Ursula and Ming, an orphan that has been raised with them, the group sets out to hunt down and kill the werewolf attacking local citizens. Picked up this ebook last year, but I'm happy I finally got around to reading it. I like the characters and would love to continue reading about them. Reminds me of the kind of stuff I used to read in Weird Tales magazine.
