Muriel, virgin daughter of Satan, has been saving herself for love with the perfect man while making her dad the laughingstock of hell. His incessant nagging gets on her nerves but it’s not easy finding the right guy. He can’t be 100% mortal or she’d likely crush him in the heat of the heat of the moment, he has to be super-hot and honestly not any old guy will accept Satan as a future father-in-law. She resigns herself to a future of longing and nagging . . .

When Lucifer figures out who’s trying to overthrow him, there’s gonna be Hell to pay!
In the meantime he has to deal with his incredibly rebellious daughter who’s driving him crazy with her embarrassing disobedience! He's a laughing stock and worst of all, she refuses to give up her virginity, insisting she’s waiting for the right man to come along – someone she (*gasp*) loves. *heavy sigh* Where did he go wrong?
Auric is hot and alpha and if he hopes to have a future with Muriel, he’ll have to...more
So what you are telling me is that Muriel is the daughter of Lucifer and not only is she a virgin, but she also has a good sense of humor? Oh yeah! This book is sexy and funny and I can't wait to see what the future has in store for Muriel...as trouble seems to follow her, I am sure it will be exciting.

My friend recommended me this book, and with her brief introduction about the character types, I was ready to buy and read this book. Once I got started, I fell in love, really, IN LOVE with the set up. It was too rich and and just plain awesome. The Heroine, Satana, is such a badass and her father, Satan - real funny guy.
Unfortunately, the thrill I felt at the start of the book did not last until the end of the book. The problem is, what started as a clever setup of Satan's daughter, striking o...more

Lucifer’s Daughter by Eve Langlais is spicy, silly, cute, and just plain hysterical sometimes! Imagine having Dad drop in at any time, with his words of wisdom and his constant nagging about how you should live your life, okay, so maybe some of us already know what that’s like, but it’s all out of love, right? Father knows best, right? What if your father was Lucifer, yep, THE Lucifer, Ruler of Hell and he’s completely exasperated because you won’t give up your virginity until you find true love...more

I received this book free via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I don't gush and give false praise – I don't believe that helps readers or authors so what you read is what I truly feel about a book.

Lucifer’s Daughter was a fast paced laugh riot and a charismatic father - daughter duo that are quite unforgettable.

My Review:
All Muriel wants is to have a normal life and the chance to find love; her one and only who'll finally rid her of her pesky virginity. What's wrong with wanting to wait for love anyway? Well one person finds the idea revolting. Of course Satan wouldn't want these sort of life's pursuits for his daughter, a Princess of Hell. He wants a sinner, a daughter who'll defile her body, outsmart him with cunning lies and disobey him at every turn. Instead he'll have to take pleasure in the one f...more

Muriel is everything you wouldn’t expect in being Satan’s daughter. She lives reasonably without any financial influence from her father and is striving to own her bar, but perhaps the most intriguing fact is that she’s still a virgin. Much to her father’s disappointment, she’s not like the rest of her rebellious siblings out stirring up trouble, yet she’s really the only child of his that he’s grown “attached” to. Their father/daughter relationship continues it’s growth when Satan’s seat of pow...more
Ok so here's the deal: the book isn't BAD and I can see why its got good ratings and stuff. I liked the idea and even some of the characters, but the thing is, there is no chemistry between Eve Langlais and I.
You know how sometimes you come across a book that you REALLY enjoy reading even if it wasn't the greatest and the idea isn't that original. Well its probably because of the authors writting style. And that's exactly what happened to me here, but opposite.

With the title of Lucifer’s Daughter, what else could this story be but a wickedly HOT one.
One look at the blurb and I knew I wanted to read it. As a lover of paranormal romance, the whole idea of a story seen through the eyes of a princess of Hell was extremely appealing and the line “makes my insides melt like marshmallows of the coals of hell” sealed the deal. It gave the promise that as I began to read I would find everything I love and to my absolute excitement it didn’t fail to deliver wh...more

LOL. That's the only word that can describe this book, cause seriously, Langlais is one hell of a joker. She is HEE-larious.
Satana Muriel Something (oops, forgot) is the daughter of the devil himself. One of many actually, and so naturally, she has some serious magical powers stored inside her. Oh, and naturally, she likes pink. Ugh, gayness.

The story itself was a bit predictable (at least for me) but it was very well written and I loved the relationships Langlais has created with her characters. I liked the aspect of the villains trying to over throw the devil. I mean other than God, who else is crazy or brave enough to go against Lucifer and his army of demons? Definitely waiting to find out who's behind all this. For paranormal lovers who are looking for something a little bit different from your standard...more

Muriel owns a bar, has boy trouble and just happens to be Satan’s daughter. She is a princess of Hell, but loves the color pink much to her father’s dismay. She got straight A’s through school and at 23 is still a virgin. This makes the devil weep. He wants his daughter to be evil! To do dirty deeds! Instead, she is waiting to have sex until she falls in love and is very happy being a bartender.

Where to start? First, the smoking hot cover caught my attention, then the title, and finally the blurb. So I had high expectations before even starting to read Lucifer’s Daughter. Let’s just say I was not disappointed!
Eve Langlais decided on a first person perspective for this book, in Muriel’s point of view. It was a bold move that paid off and suited the story, a mix of paranormal romance and urban fantasy, perfectly. My attention was captured from the beginning, until the...more

Another winner from Eve Langlais. I really like her books that involve good, evil, and all things that go bump in the night.
Maybe I'm reading too much into this stuff, but what is really drawing me to Langlais' books is that nothing is black and white. This book is a perfect example. This story has a common enough theme: falling for a person from 'the wrong side of the tracks'. But what's great about it is that I'm not sure who is the one from the wrong side. And that makes me think about how a...more

Another strong, badass female from Eve Langlais. This one just happens to be the virginal daughter of Lucifer. I thought it was hilarious that she refused to give herself to someone who wasn't "the one" while her dear old dad kept urging her to get her sin on.
Muriel is powerful. She knows her mind. When she meets Auric, the attraction is immediate. Watching her dance around that attraction was fun, fun, fun. Speaking of which, Auric isn't all he seems. He's got his own power and his own agenda....more

Pretty interesting.......Well on to my review.... This was a very fast read for me....I devoured in one sitting...The concept- of a comedic spin on the usually a dark and scary evil (DEVIL & his DAUGHTER).

Oh, insta-love, how I hate thee.
Insta-love is, hands down, my least favorite romance trope. Not only do I find it unbelievable, I don't enjoy it simply because watching two characters fall in love is my favorite part of a romance book. When that part is skipped over by having the characters just suddenly get starry-eyed, I'm not a happy reader.

Any fan of Eve Langlais is going to want to read this book. Its just that awesome mixture of fun, sexy, mysterious and well SEXY!!
Muriel the daughter of the Devil is not what you would expect. For one she is funny, she lives a pretty normal life, likes clothes, owns a bar and she is a virgin waiting for the love of her life. All this does not sit well for the Satan. But no matter what he says and how much he complains of his daughter do gooder ways you can see he loves her! Seriously apart from...more

I was very intrigued to read this book and did not know what to expect when I got and I have to say I was happily surprised. I did not expect this book to have so much humour since it was about Satan and his daughter. This book not only had some very hot and steamy scenes but some laughing out loud moments that I actually had to suppress my laughter one day as I was reading the book on the train on my way to work.

This book totally cracked me up, I thought it was great. Luicfer being upset that his daughter is still a virgin at 23 was amusing. And it was hilarious that he was so satisfied she was living in sin at the end of the book. LOL. This book has a plot that is well executed and even though it's paranormal you don't need any special vocabulary section to figure things out. It had romance, action, sex, everything. I've read these books out of order but don't love them any less because of it. I just love the way Eve Langlais writes. Great, strong, snarky heroes and smokin' hot me. What's not to love? And the Princess of hell/fallen angel coupling--GENIUS! Muriel is such a fun character, she really makes the story for me. Auric--sigh, what an angel (pun definitely intended). So romantic, I swear I wanted to just sigh like a school girl at least 10 times while reading.

Muriel is Satan's daughter, and is a big disappointment to him because she's not evil enough, in fact, at 23, she's still a-gasp-virgin. One night, at the bar she owns, she meets Auric, who is definitely hiding something. After her father warns to ground her if she keeps seeing him, I figured out the secret, since what could possibly be bad enough the devil didn't want one of his daughter to hook up with him? Together, they fight off demons, make a trip to the abyss, and meet the "master." I can...more

“Sorry, I got hung up or I’d have been here earlier. I made sure I made it for closing, though. I didn’t want the streets to suffer if you walked alone.”
A glance at him showed his lips twitching. Humor, a new facet to my knight in leather armor; one I liked, given my oftentimes sarcastic attitude towards life. He wore the same leather duster of the previous evening, and, once again, I enviously admired it. Unable to resist, I reached out a hand and stroked its supple surface, feeling a thrill that my hand strayed so close to his actual body. “It’s so soft,” I murmured.
“Not for long, if you keep stroking it,” he drawled.”
