A good collection of essays from a diverse range of experts looking at a little discussed but important aspects of interwar strategy in the Asia-Pacific.

The authors address the Anglo-Japanese Alliance, its formation and demise, from various perspectives. British and Japanese strategy, industrial and economic interests, and the impact of the alliance on US and Dominion attitudes and views of the principal signatories.

I would recommend this work for anyone with an interest in understanding the sha
