In this review I am just rating the book by Diana Palmer. This was a truly amazing book in that the heroine while scared is beautiful and sweet and the hero is just so so. I think I loved this book so much because of the brothers. They are the best and I loved each and every one of their books. My favourite being Beloved with Simon. This book is the first book that started this series. The whole Christmas gift thing was so cute. I loved this book it was a great read. I felt everything. And it ...more

Christmas Cowboy (Diana Palmer)
"He was so very masculine, a mature man with a cold temper and an iron will."
"Corrigan said often that he wasn't the marrying kind. He didn't want ties. He made that very clear, because there was never any discussions of taking her to meet his brothers. He kept her away

Christmas Cowboy is a short novella that focuses on Corrigan Hart and Dorie Wayne’s story.

Corrigan Hart is one of the famous Hart Brothers. He was known for his cold temper and iron will. And he’s set his sights on Dorie Wayne. Never to pull his punches before, Corrigan made his intentions about right at the start. He was drawn to her. He wanted her. Dorie Wayne was eighteen when she met Corrigan. As a minister’s daughter, she was raised to have a conventional outlook in life. Even though she l

LONE STAR CHRISTMAS contains two novellas that are part of the Long Tall Texans and Hawk's Way series. While I read both, I'm not likely to read any books in the Hawk's way series for a while. My main concern in reading this book was to find out more about Corrigan Hart and his now wife, Dorie.

In the novella titled CHRISTMAS COWBOY, Corrigan reconnects with his former girl-friend Dorie Wayne. Dorie's fear of Corrigan drove her away from Jacobsville, Texas when she was eighteen. She ran off to N

Diana Palmer's novel Christmas Cowboy was a wonderful read, as usual per Palmer. Love, loss, and the magic of Christmas bring lost lovers together again, as well as three meddlesome brothers. But I love Dorie's spirit and gumption at taking on three large men who have her arrested and then stick her in a gunny sack just to get her with they're brother. The laughter is there in the love and holiday spirit. A great read.
Joan Jonston's novel A Hawk's Way Christmas is a wonderful read of the love th

Christmas Cowboy: 4 stars

I loved this story, what made is particularly good was/were (not sure which one to use) the Hart brothers. They're a loud, rowdy and opinionated bunch and I doubled over laughing at some scenes. Looking forward to read about the rest of them.

Corrigan and Dorie's story was cute. Overall a good read.

I liked the Diana Palmer story but I didn't really care for the Joan Johnston story. I've read the companion books to the Diana Palmer story but this is technically the first part. Makes me want to re-read the other books in proper order.
short and sweet.

I liked corrigan hart (and his brothers) and i thought the storyline was cute.

Dorie (what a name?!) was honest and pure, l;ike so many DP characters.

It was quick and enjoyable.
