This book was published by the same publishing house as my novel A Beginner's Guide to Dying in India. It was funny, poignant and strange. I don't have kids so I think I couldn't connect with it in the same way a parent would. But I am fairly certain that if you have been through the trials and tribulations of pregnancy this book would really be something special.

Well, I loved the book. But you have the title wrong, it's 'The Umbilical Word' not World!
