I liked marco's sense of curiosity more than the book itself. I would probably give it a 3.5 if that were an option. I do however appreciate bilingual books just because of the flexibility and range of options they provide me as

I loved this book about a curious flamingo desperate to learn more about the mysterious world of snow. When Marco is no longer satisfied with the explanations provided by thos birds who flew south for the winter, he decides the only way to learn about snow is to go see some himself.

I used this story for a snow and ice themed Spanish story time program. I also used it for the respective bilingual story time program as a Spanish story. I like using books that have both English and Spanish alongside, so I can have more options when it comes to bilingual story time (I can decide to do it in Spanish or English).
