In a few words: good mystery

It's been a long while since I picked up a Heather Graham book. Not because I grew tired of the author, but because so many new authors have captured my attention in the last few years. But feeling a bit nostalgic recently I ransacked my TBR pile and pulled out "The Vision" by Heather Graham then curled up on the sofa with my comforter and a hot cup of tea while the snow and sleet did their damage outside. What I really enjoy about Graham's...more

THIS IS NOT REALLY A HARRISON INVESTIGATION BOOK!!! Yes Adam Harrison and Nikki & Brent Blackhawk make an appearance but it is no different then The Killing Edge... They are just back ground people who come to Key West to help out at the request of a friend.

That being said..
The funny thing about Graham & her ghost stories are they all follow the same flow, yet I never seem to know exactly who did it and this is book is no different. Yes I usually can narrow it down but so far I...more

While at the beginning I wasn't too sure I would like Thor -- he was too arrogant and jerky -- and then I wasn't too sure about Gen -- can you say prickly? -- I ended up liking them and their story all the same. Actually the plot and mystery is what really kept me reading. I liked that it was harder to figure out whodunnit than the others in this series, but I did have it narrowed down to two suspects and ended up picking the right one (go me!). Although I'm still not sure exactly why they did i...more

The story is about diving around the Florida coast for sunken treasure.
Genevieve sees a vision of a dead woman in the water. The woman is actually a ghost of a woman who lived during the 1500's.
The question is--do you believe in ghosts? Do you believe that ghosts can help us in our lives today?
This was my first read by Heather Graham. I would read another of her books to decide if I like her style of writing.

I liked it. I thought the characters were genuine, and I loved Gen's attitude. I found that Heather Graham could have used more technical aspects as far as the diving was concerned, but it was all right - it just could have used more explanation on the diving and equipment. (I had read The Reef by Nora Roberts, so I guess I was spoiled when it comes to this subject!)

The inner battles as well as the physical were a perfect blend, and I didn't know who it was until the end. So many cha...more

One word for this book : creepy! *at least for the first parts ^-^ Honestly, I got the creeps for only reading the first few chapters

Anyway, I thought I got the killer but ouch! I pick the wrong guy! I just wondered, am I losing my deduction touch? *as if I'm Sherlock Holmes himself (*rolling eyes, LOL)

Overall, this is an enjoyable book, providing you're into creepy kind of story which gives you goosebumps :)

I liked the ghost aspect introduced in this book. I can usually figure out who done it, but I have to admit this one had me guessing until he was revealed. That was cool. I don’t usually go for “Romance”, but Heather’s books don’t make me feel I’m getting TMI.

This was a great book. Kept me turning pages and not wanting to do anything else but read! Heather Graham's ghost stories are some of my favorites of all of her works.

After my confusion, I realized I was having a blonde moment. Liked this one, a little creepier than previous ones in the series...on to #5.
Lisa
As always she keeps you in suspense until the very end..... gripping... cant wait to read the next book.

Never would have read this if it hadn't been for my Mom. It was a good mystery.
Jennifer Farr
I think this is loosely based on the Harrison Investigation. They had a minimal role in this book.
Michele
Enjoyable romantic suspense. A good mystery.

She came back strong with this one. Back to her regular form with this novel. The characters belonged together right from the beginning. Good interaction and the ghost underwater makes a nice twist.

This is the 3rd book I have read by this author and it has renewed my faith in Heather Graham. The first book I read was good, but then I read the Island which wasn't that great. In a way I felt like this book was similar to The Island, but it held my attention a lot better. I also appreciated that it kept me guessing as to who the killer was. I would read another one of the Harrison Investigation books.

After reading Heather Graham's The Dead Room, I picked up a few more of her books. The Vision was one of them. I was really disappointed. The book never caught my interest. It seemed to drag on. The characters didn't interest me, and the storyline only barely did. About halfway through, I gave up and read the last few pages just so I could know what happened and I could stop reading the book.

This was an enjoyable little ghost story, set in the blue-green waters of the Florida Keys. I always enjoy Graham's tales; while they aren't the 'greatest literary works of all time', they certainly are fast paced, tightly plotted and wonderfully suspensful. (I like that she includes bits of history about the places in which she sets her paranormal plots, as well...)

Loved it, but yet again I haven't found one book of hers I don't like!! Read it if you a fan you won't be disappointed!

*Shiver* This book was pretty creepy. The book was pretty good, however and I liked that Gen was like the prophet Cassandra and how she was disbelieved at first. The mystery angle was pretty good too, and I had trouble figuring out who the killer was (had trouble deciding between two of the guys.) Eventually, I figured out who it was just before the ending.
Melissa
I thought it was pretty good over all. I liked how the two bigger characters got involved with each other not wanting to admit their feelings for each other...at one point I thought I had solved the mystery but in the end....I was wrong. It's always good to have a book surprise you.

True Heather Graham (I've read a few of her books.) Light suspense, easy to read, touch of romance. This one is set in Key West, which I enjoy because I went there with my dad one year. Such a beautiful & captivating place (not to mention filled with a few ghosts.)
Heather
I got 2 chapters into the book and guessed who was causing the mystery/trouble, very much to my husbands disliking I might add.He had read the book before me and he liked it but it was to easy to figure out for me not to mention I found those chapters a bore.
