Katherine Gabriel doe a great job in this book exploring not only the physical aspects of the Anasazi trade roads but their cultural, religious and astronomical significance as well. I don't know of another book that brings it all together in such a comprehensible way was this book. When I wandered around Chaco (and the Southwest in general) several years back Roads to the Center Place was one of three books I carried with me.
