I thought the plot was wonderful. Great imagination and story line. I enjoyed the characters and thought them to be well portrayed. The only thing that I wasn't impressed with was the dialogue. It just didn't ring true to me in places, enough that it took me out of the story at times. That said, should the author make that minor adjustment, I would be interested in following the story, should he continue it.

This was a fun, nonsensical hack and slash fantasy novel that didn't take itself too seriously, told an entertaining story, and kept me going. It had a lot of things going on that didn't have any logic to them and that never really explained, but it was a fun ride.

Decent book other than the fact that the chapters aren't well defined. The plot and characters are great, everything relates well together

Book is in dire need of an editor, but a fun fafhrd and the gray mouser type tale.

This fantasy novel is based on Bish, a world created by a higher intelligence. This higher intelligence 'plays' with the world adding and removing elements to make things more interesting. In the mean time the inhabitants of Bish must endure the trials caused by these changes. With interesting characters and adventures the story is well worth the read. It does need a bit of editing but this doesn't really retract from the story.

A bloody romp of an adventure focusing on the Venir (the Darkslayer), the mysterious armor and weapons that he controls or that control him, and his friends as they take on evil in a variety of forms from hunter/warriors to sorcerers to even god-like enemies.
