This series has sent me on a HUGE emotional roller coaster ride. I read books 7, 8, and 9 in one weekend. I know what you're thinking: doesn't this person have a life? No, no I don't. This book is told in alternating view points. Gaia, obviously, but also Sam, Mary, Ed, Tom Moore, Loki, Ella, even Skizz gets in there. Every time that the love triangle between three of the characters pops up (I won't say which three characters, because of spoilers) I wanted to just shout at Gaia that both of thos ...more

Just because I want to do something different I'm going to write the reviews in a Friends episode format. Enjoy!

The One With Gaia's Grief

Gaia is in denial. Her best friend Mary died in front her and doesn't want to express her mourning. That makes Ed really mad. He wasn't the only one that lost Mary that night, in fact, he thinks Gaia is being selfish. But deep down, Gaia wants revenge. The reckless side inside her wants to search the killer, and the number one suspect is Mary's old dealer, Skiz

The Fearless series is a great young adult series with appeal (i think) for both boys and girls (of course never having been a teenage boy~i can't really say for sure). Although it deals with the feelings of a young woman "born without the fear gene" and all the subsequent doubts and insecurities of dealing with that and the normal growing pains of adolescence it also has a fair amount of adventure and intrigue.
It makes great high interest reading for the "reluctant reader" because it is not dif

I've read this series over ten years ago. But I remember it being very good. For the first 18 books. After that the more it lasted the worst it got. I stopped at book 32. These days I wouldn't give it more than 20.

Back to the good stuff. I found that Gaia was a good strong, pretty but still flawed character. She was special without being annoying. It's just that once the author stopped looking over the shoulder of the ghost writer. Things went down the drain pretty fast.

Last note. The series may

Seriously IN LOVE with these books! I want ALL of them NOW, and I want to bury myself in them and devour them all at once! This 3 books reprinted every year is KILLING me....there's like 38, and Francine Pascal released more than three a year at times when they were first released. Luckily I found the latter half of the series for sale at a library...

The rating isn't legit I should read the whole series for a proper judgement.
