On a sunny day, Piglet posted a note about a picnic by the river, just bring your favorite food to share. She headed off to the river with her friend Mouse. Both carried covered baskets with their favorite foods in them. Some crows fly up with a bundle, two frogs come with promises of something crunchy. Piglet invites all her friends to a picnic. As they begin to unpack their snacks she quickly realizes that her picnic might be a disaster. Count along with piglet as more animals arrive and unpack their snacks.
My toddler loved lifting the flaps.

I thought this book was an average children's book. Nothing special, but not necessarily bad. However, my 4 (almost 5) year old daughter enjoyed it because it had flaps in the book, which I think kids in general always enjoy.
