First off I have to say, what a book.
Sean T Page single-handedly has taken the zombie survival concept and taken it to entirely another level. What has been started in other books as open-ended questions and holes cleverly covered with excuses has been answered in THE OFFICIAL ZOMBIE HANDBOOK: UK without a single missed detail.
From the sections outlining a survival plan with a green focus to 'documented' coverups by the government of the United Kingdom, Mr. Page has all his bases covered.

I was pleasantly surprised when this book turned up, knowing it was a fiction book it wasn’t what I expected. I assumed it would be like a regular fiction book but it was in textbook format.
I have to admit that zombies are not really my cup of tea but not wishing to turn down the opportunity to review this book , I decided to give it a go.

Like almost every zombie book I get, this wasn't exactly what I was expecting based on the cover. By the cover/title I had guessed it was going to be either a humor oriented book or a fake manual for a also fake British government agency that deals with zombies. What it turned out to be was a UK centered zombie survival guide.

I was a little bit bored by this one, although it did have its ups and downs. There is some good survivalist ideas in here, and it focuses on a 90 day survival plan for all types of scenarios and demographics (including surviving the zombapocalypse with disability!)
Perhaps I just couldn't identify as much with some of the discussions as it is a U.K survivalist book, and Canada simply has different topography, weather, military, etc.
Might be kinda fun to keep as a coffee table book though!

It was the "UK" bit that really caught my attention. I've read other zombie survival guides and they have a bias toward American survival enthusiasts. Sean T. Page brings a new level of zombie apocalypse survival by giving the UK citizen a fighting chance when the zombies finally rise up!
Very informative. A great history on zombies throughout history and if I ever have to pack a bag and go now I'll know what to do. 'Cause you know they're coming. I just hope the stuff that works over there works over here too.
