Great suspense - lovely romance

Laura Thorsen has a problem. In her quest for a Pulitzer worthy news story, she's made a very dangerous man very, very angry. Now he's after her to stop her from publishing the story. A fine first novel that follows the heroine to Northern Canada in an attempt to escape a killer. Ghosts, an ailing mother and a setting that is almost a character, make this a very worthwhile read.
