Blurb from goodreads

Sister Cate Carter has been working at Westwood General Hospital for many years and always loved her job. Until the world according to Cate came crashing down when two detectives marched on to her ward. Ward 73 gave them cause for suspicion, more and more deaths were occurring with no reasonable explanation of why. This had happened before, not at Westwood General, not recently, but it had happened. David Waters, a name very well known in the medical world, was being brought...more

This is a great thriller that builds tension from the first chapter and sustains that pace to the last page. The plot is frighteningly believable and it leaves the reader wondering if such events really could happen. That is the mark of a truly great crime thriller writer. I cannot wait until Maggie's next book is out later this year.

Fallen Angel was full of thrills and plenty of mystery. Both the plot and the characters were brilliantly written and the story kept me guessing about who did it until the very end.If you are a fan of murder mysteries I suggest that you pick up a copy of Fallen Angel right away.I promise you that you will not be disappointed.

Sister Carter runs ward 73, with unexpected deaths occurring . Could it be one of her staff? A very clever thought out book that will keep you guessing right to the end, not only on who did it but also how they did it.

First one read by this author and it flowed quite well. I think the twist at the end was a bit clunky but overall enjoyable.
