A Secret Arrangement is a very cute Historical story. Farida Mestek has made a fun romantic story but yet addressed serious issues of the times and just how dangerous it was to be different back than. I enjoyed the book but I am not a fan of being taken back to the beginning by way of flashbacks before I can again go forward in the story. I felt like I was missing an important part of the story, this really is just a dislike of my own so leaving that aside I really enjoyed the story. I believe t ...more
It really is a good book. Smooth writing and likable characters make it easy to like the story.
The main problem I had with this book (in fact it's not really a problem) was it being too short. I would have liked to know more about the characters! Though for such a short story it has a rather complex plot and a few interesting twists, and so I think it speaks in favor of the author's skills.
3.5 stars bumping up to 4 'cause I really liked both protagonists (even if there was a time when I wanted to smack Edward in his ear) *smack smack smack* :3
3.5 / 5 Estrellas.

I love it. This book is beautiful. A Secret Arrangement is a great, great book. Good story, characters friendly, interesting and funny.

Farida Mestek lives in Ukraine, but she adores Regency England, where she spends a great deal of her time. She fell in love with it the moment she saw one of the film productions on TV when she was a child, and her love and fascination grew and solidified with every Jane Austen book that she read and reread time and time again.

Having been writing all of her life, she decided to write Regency-set s
