Uno de pochi libri che mi hanno strappato una risata. bella lettura:gustosa!Però mi ha fatto riflettere su alcuni concetti che trovo abbastanza veritieri 1-Abbiamo parlato tanto io e la mia generazione,proprio tanto...lo vedi il risultato. 2-Non bisogna disprezzare i giochi di parole. "Señores niños" es la última novela del gran escritor francés Daniel Pennac. En este caso nos propone una fábula muy imaginativa en la tradición del realismo mágico para el que, además, él acuña el término realismo pedagógico. ¿Y cuál es el resultado?: pues una novela maravavillosa, inteligente, imaginativa, tierna, divertida,.. y sobre todo pedagógica, porque Pennac ha sido maestro y siempre quiere educar. Questo romanzo parte come un "e se...?"
E se tre ragazzini venissero puniti dal professor Crastaing durante una sua lezione, e dovessere così scrivere un tema, e se il titolo del tema divenisse realtà mentre i tre ragazzini lo scrivono, e si risvegliassero il giorno successivo ormai adulti, circondati da adulti regrediti ad età scolare?
Un bel romanzo, ci mette un po' a ingranare ma poi non si vede l'ora di capire come va a finire. Non al livello della saga dei Malaussene, ma molto carino.
E se tre ragazzini venissero puniti dal professor Crastaing durante una sua lezione, e dovessere così scrivere un tema, e se il titolo del tema divenisse realtà mentre i tre ragazzini lo scrivono, e si risvegliassero il giorno successivo ormai adulti, circondati da adulti regrediti ad età scolare?

A Pennac is always a Pennac, it has to be Belleville, has to be a bit crazy, and if you read a Pennac once in a while, it will certainly be enjoyable. And as the characters are always sweet, the writing always easy and funny, (it comes directly from the oral form), it's a one night reading book. I like the surrealisic part of this one, and all the thinking around the gap of generations, the growing up, the child hidden in every adult, and so on.

Unfortunately, however, Messieurs Les Enfants is not for me. I picked it up twice in an attempt to read it - got as far a chapter 4, and decided that no, I'd prefer to read something else. I might add, that I had the Italian version, Signori Bambini, translated by Yasmina Melaouah.

The story got my attention but the book itself was a bit hard to read.3 kids receive as homework punishment an essay about what they will do as adults and the book tells what they go through because of it.Funny but a bit, how to say, dizzy to read.

Oh, beh, questa poi... Pennac mi scrive un libro in cui l'inizio è sensato?
Dopo la saga di Malaussène non me lo aspettavo, ma è vero: l'inizio di questo romanzo è sensato, ed è fantastico. Probabilmente Signori bambini è uno dei pochi libri che letto in cui l'inizio e la fine sono migliori della parte centrale, che risulta un po' frammentaria e dispersiva: i nodi giungono al pettine troppo lentamente, lo sviluppo delle vicende parallele tarda a riunire le fila...

A funny story based on the premise of “what would happen if young kids woke up to be adults and their parents were turned into kids?” (no, this has nothing to do with the movie “Big”).
Don't remember much. Thought it was an inferior (and extended) variation on the same theme more satisfactorily in a children's book by the same author.

I have read it in Italian in the nineties. I didn't like it too much.
Just fun to read. A fantasy tale.
Onestamente speravo in qualcosa di molto meglio.
Vorrei saper scrivere così
J'ai eu du mal à entrer dans l'histoire, l'écriture m'a un peu gênée au début, et puis finalement, on s'y fait. C'est joliment raconté, on referme le livre un sourire aux lèvres.
Perché ogni tanto è bello tornare a casa, dal caro vecchio Pennac, il Pennac dei tempi andati, della scrittura scorrevole, della storia ai limiti del fantastico, ma pur credibile...una bella storia, personaggi memorabili (ma mai come il buon Malaussene) e le pagine che corrono via facili, veloci... un libro di cui avevo bisogno, soprattutto dopo la mediocre esperienza de "Diario di scuola" (non paragonabile, perché di tutt'altro genere).

Recommends it for:
the ones who are still children
This book is a great review of one of the most beautiful periods in our lives - childhood. A teacher asks his students to write an essay on the following topic: changing places with their parents..So far, so good. But, the thing is really happening in the early next morning...The result? A "serious" novel, full of humour, in which the generations confront with different problems and everyone claims for its previous "benefits" and rights.
J'ai adoré ce livre. Je sais pas si c'est le fait de retomber dans l'enfance ou quoi mais je l'ai dévoré. Le thème (une rédaction au sujet fantastique donnée comme punition à 3 gamins de 5e dans une scène formidablement décrite), la façon dont il est traité, tout m'a plu. Je n'avais pas vraiment été convaincue par La Fée Carabine mais là ça m'a vraiment donné envie de me jeter sur tous les autres Pennac.
I enjoyed Pennac's book about the ogre, I can't remember the title beyond the work ogre, about a man working in a large department store in Paris that is beset by bombs. Pennac writes with a certain amount of fantasy, and creates likeable characters. This book involves kids becoming adults and I found it less engaging, although the kids are all second generation immigrants to France and that is something new to my eyes.

C'est superbe! Pennac donne un air ironique des rélations adultes-enfants, et la question fréquent sur la dispparition de l'innocence, autant que montre également la puissance des enfants d'aujord'hui, avides de tout classe de domination, en rigolant des aspects faibles de ses parents...et le monde adulte entière.
Un professore antipatico che tormenta i suoi studenti da trent'anni, tre bambini diventati adulti, i loro genitori tornati bambini: una storia scorrevole, che fa sì ridere ma anche riflettere.
This book really helped me to remember the happy days of childhood and most of all to remember how I was thinking back then.

Errori comuni di un lettore: leggere "Come un romanzo" e credere che Pennac sia un bravissimo scrittore.

Daniel Pennac (real name Daniel Pennacchioni is a French writer. He received the Prix Renaudot in 2007 for his essay Chagrin d'école.
