If you are a beginning Psych student like me, you willfind this book very essential to starting in this field. It holds a lot of very interesting information ranging from the badic functions of the brain to the various vocational fields of Psychology to growth and development if children and adults and psychological disorders.

Great textbook. I liked it for the fact that presented all sides of psychology. It got my feet wet for starting my studies in psychology.

Robert S. Feldman is Dean in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Professor of Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
