Thomas Strömquist
"Sista resan" (The last journey) is something so rare as to be a spin-off from a truly great novel (We, the drowned) that almost surpasses its predecessor. This book tells the story of the true life marine artist Carl Rasmusson (who figures briefly in "Drowned") and many characters from the first book are revisited. The follow-up is tighter and more focused and just as much worth reading.
Grandiose Landschaftsschilderungen.
