I do not like when Eric gets hit by a icical. His friends are really woreed about their friend. The friends are fighting so their other friends can eascape. Will Eric get better? To find out just read all the rest of the books in that seires.

This is a book from the series "The Secrets of Droon" and I think readers would benefit from finishing earlier books in the series before this one to enable them to become familiar with the cast of characters. This is a popular series among the readers I serve. This beginning fantasy is totally dependent on the action. Perhaps over the series there is more character development, but this book reminded me of a video game in which constant threats and retreats pop up randomly.
its about Galen and his friends found this blue snowflake that belonged to a serpent and they have to put a the snowflake back where its wound is so when they arrive they are attacked by Nesh warriors and these people save them and they ask them about a serpent then Galen disappears through a wall then Eric finds a secret room where Galen is they figure out where the serpent is and heals her.
