I had initially held off reading this book which had sat on my bookshelf for many years with a presumption of its title inferring to an overly emotional story which didn't appeal at all. The reality is now after reading it is that this story is complete opposite of what I thought it might be which proves you shouldn't judge a book by it title.

This is the autobiographical account of Barry Goode and his life as heart hardened criminal ( beginning in the 1950s ) over 25 years before a conversion to
