My kids are big Thomas fans. These Thomas stories were fun and the pictures were great.
Our main issue was that the book is pretty text heavy which made it hard for my 5 yr old twins to keep their attention. It also made it a chore to read in one setting.
If I were to read it again I might have done one story in a setting instead of going through the whole book in one read.

Of course my children love this book solely because it is a Thomas and Friends book. With that said, the pictures seem old fashioned but my kids like them. The stories are just like in the series. Make of that what you will.

The Evil Overlord in Training is into Thomas now. Thankfully the stories are interesting even to mommies and daddies.
