A Little Consequence is the second instalment of the Texas Firefighters series and is the story of Evan Drake and Selena Jarobe. Evan has always been a player and never thought of himself as the settling down type. Selena is from a wealthy background who is forced to try and live independently of her family's money. Neither of them were prepared for what a mistake during a glorious night of passion would to do them. This is a story about overcoming fears, forgiveness and finding love.

A woman who has a lot of trouble with her loved ones doing dangerous things gets pregnant from a one night stand. THEN she discovers--he's a firefighter! How fraught. This one was pretty good.

A quick easy read. While this was a good story and I connected with the characters I enjoyed the first book, PLAYING WITH FIRE, more.
