I've read a few Sheikh romances and this one is one of my favorites. It had the tortured/scarred hero without the hero being a total jerk as many variants of the theme can go. He was actually very thoughtful and sweet. And Hana was great too. I think they had great chemistry. I also liked how it was set in Africa, which isn't common. And that they were both from the same country and spoke the same language. I don't mind the Western heroine with a Sheikh romances, but it's a nice change to have o ...more

It is different from normal HP/sheikh stories.... It's more realistic and discussed Muslim culture more than most stories.

I love it! I absolutely love it! Thorough and well-written, the story left nothing to chance. It was a beautiful unfolding of two lives who found their soulmates in the bleakest of places. The line "We found love in a hopeless place" comes to mind. The characters were wonderfully made: passion, personality, and spunk.
