This is a family favourite. We have sung this song going north to the cottage for years. When the book came out my daughter (who at four knows the lyrics) was immediately drawn to the illustrations. A terrific book.

A handsomely illustrated version of the song that chronicles the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Offers insightful snapshots of Canadian history and natural beauty. Informative back matter.
