Some juvenile books, while just fine, are written so much better than others. This is one of the 'so much better' stories. I enjoyed the characters, story, setting. Though many of these books seem to have the plot device of the main character not getting what they were expecting and usually end up babysitting or spending alot of time with younger children, but that's OK.

I think this Candy Apple line would appeal to many 12 year old girls.
Juliette Juliette Juliette Juliette she was so cool and she honestly had more problems in her life than Samantha did. See You Soon, Samantha was an.. okay book overall but I honestly didn't see a point to it. I didn't feel like anything changed or happened, other than the fact Juliette's parents are divorcing and Samantha knows about that, and Samantha won't be dating that cuteish lifeguard what's-his-name.

It's nice, I guess, but not something I liked as much as other Candy Apple books.

i am ready to read it on here
fast read, very ego-centric view, which is true to form of most 12 year olds. As an adult I could foresee certain events, but not sure teens reading would be able, which is good. It's light, but you could dig deeper for meaning if you wanted to go that route with students.
I loved the bright cover and mostly cheerfulness of this book. I also love the beach. and it's about the beach, heh heh.
It was okay but I didn't like that she was goth the cover was misleading.a little fluffy but otherwise good!
