Recommends it for: interstitial cystitis patients
Getting a handle on the IC diet was the hardest part of managing the disease for me. Even though a lot of the recipes are almost common sense, and many were moot due to my vegetarianism, the diet tips are really helpful. Little bits of information - such as sun-dried tomatoes having their acidity converted into sugars - greatly increased the numbers of foods I was comfortable trying.
