I took a chance recently on Twitter and reached out to novelist Lauren Hammond. She had been tweeting about her new novel, Love Sucks, and I just had to get my hands on a copy. The novel, I came to find out, wasn't even in print yet. Hammond got the okay from her publisher {okay, it took a little bit of teeth pulling} to send me a copy via email, in PDF format. Within days, I was reading her novel and feel so honored to be trusted with it!

This book took me by surprise. I ordered this book after talking with Ms. Hammond. Her books immediately captured my interest and it did not disappoint.
Cara was turned into a vampire and left in her grave. After, she could not understand what was going on with her. She meets Andrew, who helps her adjust to her new way of life. Awesome tale of Vampires without all the glitter! This novella really takes its protagonists back to the origin of their species. I'm not ashamed to say I like vampire stories...And I think Love Sucks, a novella by Lauren Hammond is one of the most fun vampire reads that I've had in a long time!

I Absolutely loved this book! It was great to see a vampire book that went back to the traditional vampire! This is a must read! It doesn't disappoint!
