Beyond Justice is an amazing and awesome book. I was hooked and feverishly captured within the first few pages. Graham puts readers deep into the pit of a man's worst nightmare - what if you lost everything, right down to your freedom and self?

I had a physical reaction to this book - my heart was racing with fear, anger, and sadness for Sam Hudson, the main character. The book puts faith on the line - do you have it, will it get your through, how much is enough, how much is too much More...

I will give you fair warning before you pick up Beyond Justice by Joshua Graham - - the next 24 to 48 hours of your life will be utterly consumed by this book.

I can be an intense, all-inclusive reader but it takes a special book to have my unconditional and unwavering attention from page one to the conclusion. Beyond Justice does just that; it draws you in from the first page and literally does not let go of you or your emotions until the rollercoaster conclusion.

This is one of the best books I've read in a while. I'm not usually one for crime books, but I had heard so many good things about this book, that I decided to pick it up. The first 50 pages were pretty hard to get through, because the action starts right out of the box. But things just become so intriguing and interesting, that I kept moving forward at a high rate. The last part is really good.

The story is about a husband who comes home to find his family attacked - his wife murde More...

I have been so lucky to have read so many 5 star books lately. Beyond Justice is right up there with the best.

The story starts off with a bang and only gets better and better. It was so easy to put myself into the shoes of Sam. How horrible to come home to your family slaughtered, have your son hanging on by a thread and then be blamed and convicted of doing this crime and be sent to death row.
Sam found his faith while he was in prison and that helped him hang on and keep going More...

“Beyond Justice” by Joshua Graham:

This book was so much more than a mystery novel; it was an exercise in faith, understanding, joy and mercy in their purest forms. Graham brings Sam Hudson to life with his anger, loss, love, frustration, fear and his ultimate belief in this book.

With his beloved Jenn and precious daughter Bethie stabbed to death in their own home, Hudson clings to the hope that his son Aaron will somehow make it through surgery and come out of his coma to More...

Wow! Can you say "emotional rollercoaster'?! Oh. My . Goodness. Okay. Time to breathe. This book is NOT for the faint of heart. It is exceptionally amazing! This story gripped my heart, turned it inside out and right side in again over and over, and I certainly won't be forgetting it anytime soon!

Sam Hudson's story is absolutely captivating. The emotions he felt, the devastating turmoil he went through was riveting and can be felt by the reader as if they too, were a part of Sam More...

Excellent book! A man is forced to face a tragedy in his life and his world is shattered. Can it get any worse? With nothing to hold on to and no faith to sustain him,he is befriended by his neighbor, a Pastor. His journey is a page turner to the end.

Funny just a day or two ago, Nook on Facebook asked the question about when was the last time you read a whole book in just one day? I couldn't remember, I don't know if I had. For sure I read the Blue Nowhere, by Jefferey Deaver in one weekend, but certainly not in one day. Well, I now have an answer, I started Beyond Justice yesterday afternoon, and just now finished it, less than 24 hours later. This was an incredible book! I absolutely could not put it down! What an incredible story! From th More...

Captivating. This was an absolutely amazing, and page turner of a book. One of the most captivating book I've read.
I read the excerpt of the first three chapters in Accidental Hero and I knew I had to read this book. This book will consume you, you'll yearn for to continue reading, the need to know is so compelling that until you've completed this book you will rest again. It makes you ask yourself questions about your own life. You'll pray and have a little or a big talk with God. And th More...

The author is a former colleague of mine. Graham is his pen name. The story borders on the unbelievable, reminding you that you are reading a book at times, but it is nearly impossible to put down. I finished it in three days. It was most definitely a good read.

Seen from Sam's eye's makes for a very interesting religious legal thriller read. Interesting people in the story. A must read if you are looking for something a little different when it comes to a mystery, murder and court action.

This is a book that is in serious need of an editor. I read it on my Kindle. While the story got off to a great start, by mid-book I was bored. I'm not sure whether the print edition has as many grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors as the Kindle edition, but it was quite annoying. There were also several events that were overwritten and too over the top such as many of the court and prison scenes. Also unbelievable was the story that DNA evidence was unavailable until several months into More...

Actually 4.5 Stars.
From my book review blog Rundpinne "...Beyond Justice delves into the sick world of child pornography, murder, scandal, abuse of the legal system, and to balance it out, the novel is also about love, redemption, and truth. Hudson crafts a brilliant thriller filled with unforeseen plot twists and character behaviour changes unlike no other. Graham’s cast of characters is not only diverse, but also extraordinarily believable. ..."The full review maybe read her More...

I cannot understand the 4+ star ratings on this book. There are so many grammatical and spelling errors, not to mention that he can't even keep his own character's names straight! Who proofread this book for him? Didn't anyone in his family read this book before it went to print? On more than one occasion he has two different names for a character. The legal process on this whole case is so unbelievable, hardly any of it would actually happen in a real court case. As a nonfictional book, I'm More...

what a STUNNING debut novel!!!!!!!! i don't usally read books that involve religion but i love Joshua Graham's short stories so i decided to give it a go. i'm so glad i did! from the very first page to the very last page i was enveloped in the story. i cant recall a single page that didn't have me at the edge of my seat. just when you think you have things figured out, Joshua has the knack to pull a fast one on you! i must admit that there were a few times i definitely shed some tears....some ha More...

A good story. The main character is framed for the murder of his wife and daughter. Pretty engrossing over all, but not a 4 star because of a few beefs. This book is overtly Christian and that's not a problem, since I am too. But... the experiences that this character has are a little over the top. Sure, I think miracles still happen, but in my experience not with the frequency that this guy experiences them. All in all though, a decent book for an author working a mystery in with his faith.

It was almost a really good story. Graham certainly had the makings of a good story, but the execution was bogged down in the mire of questionable actions on the part of the main character (like, why was he surprised that the cops would suspect him? of course they would) and religious rhetoric. Yes, I know that many feel that the religious part of this book was the best part, but, in my mind, it just filled the story with several out of place scenes (the fireplace one comes to mind.)

Great story by Joshua Graham. Christian fiction is not a genre I usually read. After reading the horribly disappointing "The Shack", I was a bit hesitant to read this one. Joshua's story was a great ride from start to finish. Not overly preachy or metaphysical, it was simply a great thriller. I even found myself thinking that the church mentioned in the book was one that I would actually visit! I look forward to discovering more of his other titles. Thank you, Joshua!

Graham grabs a hold of you from the first paragraph and doesn't let go. A very well written book that is a true description of a page turner. I highly recommend this book to all who enjoy a GREAT christian suspense. Unfortunately, what happened to Sam Hudson can happen to any of us. Hudson becomes a victim in more than one way. He falls prey to not only a vicious, hardened serial killer but to the 'justice system' as well. There are not enough words to praise "Beyond Justice" or Joshua More...

The action in this book started as soon as I started to read it. I was immediately drawn in and had a hard time doing much else! Wonderful plot and characters who I actually liked. I didn't realize it was a Christian novel but that was fine with me. I have read other Christian books and have enjoyed them. The book has a great message. I found the ending very emotional. I had a good cry! I always feel a good book invokes emotion and this book did just that.

Terrific writer!! A 5-star writer. I would say that this was an exciting book and a real page-turner. I'm anxious to read more of Joshua's books. His compassion and passion are both evident throughout these pages. Amazing story that will keep you on the edge of your seat! So hang onto your hats when you first pick up this book - you're in for quite a ride :)

Joshua Graham really knows how to manipulate emotions it's unlike other crime mystery novels from the first 10 pages i was hooked i just couldn't put it down although had to and it was torture. This book an intense religious legal thriller with murder, suspense, hope and faith brought together very well. I know it was fiction, but it makes my heart ache for the people who are serving time behind bars for crimes they didn’t commit, I just can’t even fathom how really horrible that must be.

Not quite what I expected. I understood from the jacket that Sam found God while enduring his time in prison. Being agnostic myself, I'm OK with reading about others finding strength through religion, however when Sam started having actual visions of Jesus in the corner or his room and his enemies seeing angels over his shoulder I began to think I was reading science fiction instead of a legal suspense novel.

It started great. Fast paced. But niggling details bothered me, why wasn't Sam asking who had done it? Sleeping in the house. The dinner with the church people. Sam was a lawyer yet he didn't seem to know that OF COURSE the police would suspect him. Too unbelievable.

Excellent writing, very suspenseful with a gripping storyline. There is no doubt that Joshua Graham is a talented author. My only problem is that I am simply unaccustomed to reading a book with that much strong language. While I personally prefer there to be none, I don't mind there being some. I just felt this book could have used a little less. Again, just my personal opinion. Other than that, I would give this a 4.75 stars.
