Nice girls love a sailor. Naughty girls are quite partial, too.
When a man she thought she loved offered Lady Catherine Harcourt a life wrapped in a velvet bow, she took it. That life wrapped her in velvet chains. Now her status as a respectable widow allows her virginal alter ego, Cecily, to relieve milksop-for-blood dandies of their riches and go back where she belongs. T

I really enjoyed how the heroine got the better of the hero at nearly every opportunity. It did border on ludicrous given how far-fetched the scenarios became in which Catherine/Cecily bested the navy soldiers so well (well, most of them!), but moreover it was refreshing to see such a fiesty, resourceful woman at the forefront. She has her cake, but eats it too. My gripe is mainly with the ending. I came away thinking that there was another chapter or two missing! Such was the abrup

Oooh let's see. Um, loved fantasy since that first King Arthur book when I was about 8. I love all fantasy but particularly Epic, and I like a strong romance element too ( which is probably why that's what I write!)

I love Pratchett, Cherryh, Gaimen to name but a few, but heck I'll give anyone a go.
