Copyright 1944.. The American Mercury magazine started in 1924.. This volume contains 20 years in reprinting a variety of articles, stories , cartoons and poems pulled from their magazines.

Loved this volume... a great first experience with short stories. Good book to start the day with and points out to me that many old problems or issues just repeat themselves through history with new names, new inventions and how we adjusted our lives repeatedly, to new ways of doing things and thinking about...more
I don't have the exact read start and finish dates on many books I have read this year. The dates are approximated, as I have been in & out of the hospital, and on bed rest, and read 2-5 books a day depending on the book & length and my ability to focus. All dates are approximated, by month.
