recommends it for:
enterprising ladies
This book is pretty darn good in that it's got a business-casual tone and touches upon a wide variety of issues that face entrepreneurs. I'd say it's a good addition to any girl's starting-a-business curriculum. I would not, however, advocate the launch of a business rooted solely in passion and the expertise gleaned from this text.

The kindness I needed in the face of this daunting task. I was training in treating patients, not in business skills. I felt hokey purchasing this pink-spined paperback, but some of the girls-only talk was helpful and soothed my worried soul.

Great resource book. The easy-going voice and overall tone appeals to the 30-something women who are interested in starting their own business. Most business books are too intense and insulting.
