Great book to end with. The simple rhyming text and brightly painted, kid-like illustrations are eye catching and easy for even a very young reader to follow. This books talks about all the things planes can do and be. We had fun counting planes and naming colors and enjoying the rhythm and the rhyme of this book.

William thought this book was a riot, but his parents were a little more on the fence. Does a plane really go Ka-Zoom? Then we learned that the follow-up book is called 'A Truck Goes Rattley Bumpa'. No planes that we're aware of go Ka-Zoom and no trucks around here go Rattley-Bumpa. But at least it got us talking about something other than dirty diapers...

This book does a great job of portraying the different types of planes along with their many uses such as carrying people, pets, and cargo. Many descriptive words are used which would be helpful when beginning a writing unit.

Bold bright pictures and a rhythmic text that works beautifully to be read aloud. And that's a good thing, because young plane enthusiasts will want this again and again....

If my plane went "Ka-Zoom!" I would be more than a little worried. Still, because my husband builds plane, my son had fun spotting the ones that were somewhat like the ones his daddy makes.

Plane pictures on every page. The family is going to an air show, but my grandson and I just like to look at planes. There is also a toy penguin to find on every page so we look for the penguin.

Shows many types of planes and their functions. Does has some good action verbs at the end. Fun to read the noises (e.g. ka-zoom) to Tikka. Would check out again before a flight.

Rhyming book for young children, especially those that like things that go. Plus if you read it aloud you get to say ka-zoom when you read it!
