Good and above average erotic romance. The author has a nice writing style. I chuckled several times at her thinking.

Daisy books a Murder Mystery Weekend at the Bedlingham Manor (hotel). She thinks it is set in the sixties (hippies and free love) but finds it’s for the over-sixty crowd. She’s only 27. The sexy hotel manager Jake can’t stay away from her, and they begin a wild and wonderful affair. As part of an edict from his wealthy father, Jake must avoid having sex with women for

I am totally at a loss on how to describe this book, it has me asking myself two questions, WTF did i just read and why did I enjoy it so chuffing much?

The start had me cringing, then I was laughing, then sniggering, then oh my is it hot in here, then awww thats so sweet, then bloody hell, then thats just ridiculous and then back to cringing!

Holy ball sucking, butt plugging, whilst having a sweet romantic picnic in the woods batman!

A funny, sometimes far fetched, ki

This was a pretty good story. I really liked Daisy and Jake and liked their story of love at first sight (almost).

Daisy is a sweet woman that hasn't had things easy. From her mother onward, no one has ever really made an effort for her or made her feel wanted. She's tried to find "Mr. Right" but has no luck in love. In an effort to get away and have some fun she goes to a theme weekend that wasn't quite what she expected. She thinks her mini-vacation has been ruined but when things get s

I've read Something about Polly a few years back before I read this story. I've been given glimpses of Adrian's personality here which is not good. Anyway, this is the story of his brother Jake and Daisy and how they fall in love. I observed from all of Miss Elsborg's books that almost all of the heroines have weird names (Daisy Leaf, Cayenne Pepper, etc.) and have the same build and hairstyle. The problem with Daisy is that she always expect the worst, but she has the strength to move on with h ...more

This would have been better if Daisy didn't let herself get pushed around so much and if somebody broke something of Adrian's... like say his face! Boy was he annoying. Don't think I can read the next book cause I didn't like him.

Freakin' hot!

Sometimes we make mistakes. Sometimes those mistakes turn up the heat.

A single word changes Daisy Leaf's weekend extravaganza. Old farts set up for a murder mystery shrivel Daisy's hopes for hippies and free love. Her interest peeks when red-hot Jake shows up in his priestly attire. GAME ON!

Daisy winds up having the time of her life and certainly finds entertainment . . . in more ways than she'd imagined. Over sixties isn't so bad, but hotel manager, Jake,

I can't say enough good things about this book. I also can't tell you how many times I snorted out loud while reading it. Daisy, the heroine, books a mystery weekend at a hotel only to find out it's for the sixty-five and older set. As a twenty-something, she's not very happy about this until she meets the hotel manager. Things get hot right from the get-go, and hysterical. Barbara does a wonderful job of motivating her characters and the ending is very satisfying. If you're looking for a funny ...more

Hate the cover but liked the book. Fun and quirky, humorous heroine, but the story was too short.

I liked this but didn't love it like the others I have read by her. There was too much sex and not enough dialogue between the characters. Usually there us an equal balance but this one I wasn't feeling the connection between the characters that I usually feel with this author. Barbara Elsborg is still one of my favorite authors and I look forward to reading all her books.

Barbara Elsborg lives in West Yorkshire in the north of England. She always wanted to be a spy, but having confessed to everyone without them even resorting to torture, she decided it was not for her. Vulcanology scorched her feet. A morbid fear of sharks put paid to marine biology. So instead, she spent several years successfully selling cyanide.

After dragging up two rotten, ungrateful children a
