With our first novel, Morrigan's Brood, readers probably didn't notice until the end that the story arc continued into the second novel, Morrigan's Brood: Crone of War. We have taken a similar approach to Dark Alliance, in that the main story arcs continue over three novels: Dark Alliance, Curse of Venus, and Shards of Light.

When Pope Leo III sends men to investigate stories of a missing cavalry patrol, and devils possessing men from Emperor Charles’ realm it is clear the holy Roman Empire is under attack. Love!!
There are so many vampire books out at the moment and so many of the are the same.
Then finally some originality with a fantastic back story, and the vampires themselves, i love the idea of different lines of vamps stemming from the deities of different cultures.
I've said this before but i had lost hope of reading a great original vampire book since Anne rice's master works (Love you Lestat)
But i think these books equals them and that makes me ectsatic!

I won this from Goodreads and enjoyed it a lot. I look forward to reading the rest of the story as they come out. The book has a really good story line but you really need to start at book one and read through it all to get an understanding of everything and why some of the characters hate each other so much.
Best vampire novel I've read since Dracula. loved the new twist with different races and their varying abilities. Held my interest through out the entire book and made me want the rest of the series. Well developed characters and vivid scene descriptions enhance the readers experience so you can feel like your actually there and a part of the story. Overall excellent book that I would recommend to anyone.
