This was disappointing. I got halfway through and stopped. Diane and Hale just didn't do it for me. They are nice enough just not interesting. I like this author very much which is why this was a shock. The cover is beautiful though. Maybe after reading To Tempt a Wilde it was a hard act to follow. Perhaps I will revisit this one if I make time. Not a poor book but not compelling either.

Having recently read Adam and Eva it was nice to run across the sequel of sorts. This was a short novel with only 219 pages, but a lot was packed in those few pages. It was also nice to hear about Adam and Eva and their continuing love for each other; the kids they had together.

I liked how the relationship between Diane and Hale developed. It seems more realistic than most of the romance novels I read. I liked the animosity between the two. It was sort of a mystery to find out about Hale and why
