This book is a compilation of letters between characters in several different tales: Peter Rabbit, The Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, and Little Red Riding Hood. The idea of the characters all sending each other letters is very cute. The letters themselves aren't perfectly done: they're a bit wordy for reading out loud in one sitting and the fonts bothered me. The illustrations are very well done, with lots of fun details.
"Dear Peter Rabbit" is a creative book filled with letters from different popular fairy tales, as they write to one another. This book would be excellent in the classroom when implementing letter writing; in fact, you could have your students use one of the letters in the book as a model. Therefore, you have several different types of writing prompts. I'd also use this book when discussing point of view, since there are several writers in this book, with several points of view. This is a fun series of correspondence between various fairytale characters. It shows the proper way to format a letter and incorporates the plot lines from several different stories. It's a fun story to read aloud. Our girls enjoyed watching the story on the Tumblebooks website. (tumblebooks.com)
Once again the story is written in letter form. The letters were great and the illustrations were delightfully detailed. When will those wolves learn to get along with others? They could be having a better time at a party than looking for tail repair.
Text consists of interesting letters between Peter Rabbit and the 3 Little Pigs. Also includes letters between Goldilocks and the Littlest Bear. Other nursery rhyme characters are also mentioned within the letters. Creative.
I love this book. It's so cute and the concept is original and humorous. Characters from different stories (Goldilocks, Three Little Bears, Peter Rabbit, Little Red Riding Hood))are writing letters to one another.

This is a story told through letters written among friends. Good for learning how to write a proper letter in Spanish! Plus, the letters themselves are cute to read. Animal and human friends together in one book.
Another good mix of stories. This integrates Goldilocks, the Three Little Pigs, Peter Rabbit, and more.
