Cute, same character.
Shot in Civil War reenactment at the B&B, another guy is killed.
He still has a crush on the chief of police.
I picked up this book because the author was known to me as a national weatherman, and I was curious about his writing skills. The chapters are separated into groups by weather sayings from other sources such as The Bible, Shakespeare and Mark Twain. The story is set in a small town in Virginia. The protagonist, Stanley, used to be a weatherman who has returned to his hometown and now owns an inn. His childhood sweetheart is the sheriff. Wonderfully crappy! I very much enjoyed not liking this book!

The plot is about a retired tv weatherman who solves crimes! One of the suspects is very clearly meant to be Bryant Gumbel! How can you not enjoy (on some level) reading this book?
