I read a Humpty Dumpty board book to Natalie at the library the other day. I'm pretty sure that it was by this author. Instead of showing the characters in the rhyme, cute illustrations of toddlers act out the words. It was interesting that it didn't end happy; the toddlers were all crying at the pieces they couldn't put back together.
I kind of like that the toy stays broken and the babies are sad at the end of this book--isn't that the point of this rhyme, that some things CAN'T be fixed?
