A three-in-one collection, the titles of each of the sections ("Clara and the Cowboy," "Lily and the Lawman," and "Maggie and the Maverick") should go a long way to showing the high-quality storytelling that was happening here. My only defense was that I was very tired when I picked up the book from the library.

Erica's favorite books are historical novels and history books, and one of her greatest thrills is stumbling across some obscure historical factoid that makes her imagination leap. She’s continually amazed at how God has allowed h ...more
