33 short stories about small towns, a few that no longer exist save as a few overgrown foundations...train wrecks...one story about this old buck who was seen walking one day, later found, deceased on top of a grave marker. seems like most of the stories have to-do w/the northern lower peninsula. lots of history here, too.
