I loved Aunt Eater when I was younger and still do. I think this series is what helped start my love for mystery and I just love how cute and spooky these little tales are. I wish they'd make a TV series out of this, it would do really well. :)

Recommends it for: parents reading with their children/young readers
A short story, with great pictures and an engaging narrative. This book is a little beyond the reading abilities of my oldest, but we enjoyed reading it together. It's a chapter book, but only has 4 chapters and we were able to read it at one setting.
Mommy says: 8yo Cana read this only because she was sitting with me while I read it to her 6yo brother. It's pretty far below her current reading level.
