This book was just visually amazing. I would have like more explanation about the illusions, but the writing was easy to understand. This is a fun book!

Has excellent color prints of many of my favorite artists. The related texts are concise and interesting.
For students of the Renaissance or Rosicrucian history, the section on Giuseppe Arcimboldo makes this book worth a look.

A cool collection of optical illusions in this book, many of them are explained. A fantastic book, although after having read, I never looked at it again.
