A board book filled with a jaunty rhythm and fun rhymes, this is a book that the littlest ones are going to love (and so will their grown ups!) The book starts with action and movement, like clapping hands, dancing feet, and crawling away. It then moves into preparation for bedtime with a bubbly bath, laughs, and some peek-a-boo. Oh, and a little chasing of the cat too. Then it slows down into hugs, sleeping and kisses.

I want a kitty so I can chase, chase, chase. I guess that means I would have to learn to crawl first, but I'm hoping to skip that altogether and just walk..or jump. I like the bouncy way the words sound in this book. I enjoy talking to the baby in this book, he or she is very appealing and friendly. I'm happy that this book mentions Grandma and Grandpa since I love my Glinda and Papa, it's nice they get a shout out.
I read this book to my nephew and he ate it up! He is really close to his family and wouldn't let me say Grandma, I had to change it to Mamaw. I ended up having to read it to him several times and after just a couple of times reading through, he would start clapping right before I got to that part. My favorite was all the hugs and kisses he gave. This is a really great book!
My daughter Helana, thoroughly enjoyed this board book full of fun! A simple and short story that uses a lot of rhyming and motions will keep your child stimulated from beginning to end.
You can read it in a sing-song fashion which will keep even the most distracted child focused and entertained!
I highly recommend for children ages newborn to toddler!

Little Kid Reaction: My son liked the animals and liked naming them. We also used the book to explore and practice colors.
Big Kid Reaction: I didn't like this book. The animals were colored inconsistently. The "purple" elephants were borderline pink/purple, which made it difficult to use the book beyond the 1-sentence descriptions.

Cute! This is a great fun little board book with a rhyming melody of words that we have read over and over again. AppleBlossom and I both love this one! With calm, but attractive colors on each page there is an action and color and object to name in addition to the story. The illustrations are cute and I would easily reach for this book any day.
