It's been five years since Lily and Travis fell in love in Take it's finally time for Janica and Luke to get their very own happy ending.

If there's one thing that Janica Ellis is absolutely certain of, it's that she and Luke Carson are totally wrong for each other. She's a wild, artistic and outspoken fashion designer. He's a type A, workaholic trauma surgeon (wh

ummm Meh... I may get my ass kicked for this seeings how others have given it 4 and 5 stars...

If this wasn't free I prob would of cracked the shits with it, because it was free I feel like it was ok..

Basically in the first one Travis and Lily got married-5 yrs later Lily's little sister Janica and Travis' twin brother Luke hook up.

I really didn't feel their connection I was TOLD. I couldn't picture what they looked like... and yeah just didn't feel it...

My first dud of the year. Right off the bat I didn't really like either character. I kept wanting to call the heroine Jamaica (her name is Janica) and the hero just seemed very selfish, and not at all attractive in his demeanor. Maybe it gets better, but for me its a case of too many books, too little time for "iffy" romances.
I must admit, I hated the ER surgeon Luke right from the get-go. Talk about a man with issues. A well endowed man with issues. Hmmm….

Luke is a workaholic doctor. Very little time is left for personal things, like love. A crisis at work occurs and Luke is ordered to take a 4 week break at the hospital’s private cabin in Big Sur.

Janica is fun loving, adventurous, and quirky. She is a successful designer. When it comes to Luke, Janica has the patience of a saint and an overactive sex drive. At one

Love Me is the sequel to Take Me, one of my all time favorite books. Love Me is about Lily's sister Janica and Travis's brother Luke. I didn't think we'd ever get their story since Bella is now writing for another publisher than when she wrote Take Me and also since it's been so long since Take Me was published. I can only assume Bella had a lot of requests for Janica and Luke's story, one request by me, and I'm thrilled she decided to write their story! Loved it!!!! And I also loved revisiting ...more

I really love having an excuse to read sexy books. I've read a few of Bella's books in the Sullivan's Series (which is excellent), so when I saw this one for free on Amazon I snatched it up! I still need to read the first book Take Me, but I was able to follow along with this story without reading it. A few of my friends read this book and liked it as well. So, my friend Andrea came to town and we decided that Love Me would be the perfect book for us to swoon over together. We weren't disappoint ...more
This is a tale of opposites attract; Luke is a straight-laced, workaholic who since his mother passed when he was 10 has been doing everything in his power to be “good”. Janica is a party girl designer who doesn’t care much about being good or caring about what other people think of her. She lives her life on her terms, which is something I can get down with. For years these two have each been secretly attracted to the other, but neither would act on it. Janica knew she wasn’t the little miss pe ...more

I have to say I'm a bit torn because there was so much good about the book but then some things that dragged it down.

I'll start with the bad news first.
This book dragged quite a bit in the middle and at the end. It had highs and lows like blips on a heart monitor machine. It starts strong, with Luke acting on a primal impulse to visit Janica in the middle of the night for a little lovin'. He's had a rough night in the ER that reminds him just how empty his life is. Janica is just not

I keep hoping I'll read a Bella Andre book and discover what all the fuss is about. Unfortunately, Love Me (Take Me, #2) was not that book.

Janica is... sexually adventurous. Just as she's deciding whether or not to follow through on the menage a trois she's set up for herself, Luke, her sister's brother-in-law shows up at her front door. In unearned-angst-romance fashion, the two have been in love with each other forever -- at least since her sister married his twin brother -- but have neither

This is the story of two people who have fought an attraction to one another for no real discernible reason. Luke is an ER doctor who burns out and is humbled when he has to leave the OR one night. He shows up at Janica's house to find her trying to get it on with two other guys. Luke, whose brother is married to Janica's sister, has been ignoring his attraction to Janica too long. He growls and the guys leave. He and Janica sleep together, but Luke is still grumpy. He is being forced to take a ...more

Janica Ellis and Luke Carson are the couple that never was. They both realize they have feelings for one another, but they never quite realized that the other reciprocated those feelings. After a particularly long and stressful night spent in the hospital ER, where Luke is trauma surgeon, he is devastated when his shift doesn't end the way he expects. Seeking comfort and solace from the one person that he knows will give it all willingly, with no questions asked, he turns to Janica, the person h ...more
I'm having a difficult time enjoying this read. It feels too verbose in some sections. The narrative goes on an on in the love scenes about how this moment, that touch - is the ultimate culmination of feeling and love. I found myself skimming those sections because it just didn't ring as genuine for me. The reader doesn't go on that difficult journey of coming to terms with emotion, so it felt too manufactured.

It also doesn't have a natural build up of a relationship. It begins in the midst of

I have to agree with the last reviewer - it's a dud. Luke and Janika's story is just terrible. The story is supposed to read like this: Luke and Janika have known each other since childhood and have been related for five years now since her sister and his brother got married. He - as a trauma surgeon, is burned out and told to take some time to recoup. She, out of concern for him, follows him to this lake house to help him through this tough time. This, however, is how it actually reads: Luke i

Part of me wonders if this book was written before Take Me because the characters felt so disjointed, I couldn't enjoy it. Luke and Janica are sibling-in-laws with an earth-shattering attraction to each other. It's only after Luke comes over for a booty call that she realizes she loves him. And it went downhill from there. Luke's constant lashing out and "please stay"s drove me nuts and I wasn't the one he was playing emotional hacky sack with. I understand the need to expand upon the characters ...more

Luke and Janica...

Now this was more my speed! I read the first installment over a year ago, so I had to recap a little to remember what happened.

I liked the characters and their chemistry. Was mad at Luke because of his stupid hang-ups and then also at Janica for giving so freely and expecting nothing in return. 5 Years is a lot of time to waste...

Would've been nice if they did something different than the Italy thing (won't spoil it for you). But I guess you can't have it all, right!?

Great work

I love Bella Andre. Just saying. I recently discovered her when I was looking for a football themed romance book. So when I was browsing the free books on Amazon, I got all excited to see Love Me was there!

Love Me takes place five years after the first book in the series, Take Me. In Take Me, Luke and Janica helped Luke's twin brother, Travis, and Janica's older sister, Lily, find love together. Five years later you find Luke, a trama surgeo

Lucas and Janica have known one another since childhood. Janica's sister Lily is Lucas' best friend, and is even married to his twin, Travis. Such a tangled web, and the baggage that goes along with it means Janica is off limits. She's not even his type. Her dominant personality and wild ways is not what he typically looks for in a girlfriend. But Lucas isn't looking for a relationship, he wants one night with Janica. Pleasure to numb the pain. But Lucas doesn't realize that Janica will become a ...more

I love silly romances, but even silly romance novels need to have a little more substance than this for me to enjoy them. This book couldn't seem to decide if it was an erotic novel with romance or a romantic novel with porn, but it didn't really do either one well.

The plot was cliched, which is fine when the characters are developed well. These were not. Everything seemed forced and contrived, and what there was of a plot seemed to exist only so the author could write repetitive sex scenes thr

I liked this book and series... But the female main characters in the series drove me nuts. They were game playing and extremely manipulative. I'm glad they smartened up by the end of the books.

I was built up from Take Me for Janica's and Luke story. I was looking forward to their story and when I found out that this sequel came out in 2013, I felt left out of the loop. But it took me no time at all to catch up and did I ever. It took me one day to start and finish this book. And I do mean one day because I stayed up past my bedtime to read it. But onto my thoughts of the book, I thought Janica and Luke's story was too short. Where Lily and Travis had this whole in depth story even tho ...more

It's not often that I rate books so low. I had my rating set at two stars, but then I thought that wasn't fair to the other two-star books in recent memory. Love Me is on a whole different level.

I first downloaded this book years ago, before I even had an e-reader to read it on, back when I was trying to find something -- anything -- to read on my lunch breaks at work. It was free for Kindle, and it gathered virtual dust for about three years before I remembered I had it.

No no no.
Nothing worked about this story. I hated that Janica is portrayed initially as bring an über slut - about to take on two guys when Luke barges in. Then for the rest of the story Luke can't believe he has found a woman who can 'handle' his giant penis. Way too many references to the sizes of both characters genitals and their amazing ability to orgasm at the same time every time they look at each other.

There was no chemistry, they went from booty call to I love you in 10 seconds flat a

Life would be much easier if people did what they truly wanted, not what they are told or what others think it is the right thing to do! This book is a clear example. If Janica and Luke just did what they wanted in their hearts, their relationship wouldn't have been so complicated. This book was free on KOBO so I gave it a shot. Too much detail about their sexual life, the ending of the story was good.

It's always a good thing, when you read something, and it's better than you expected. This was one of those for me. I liked how Luke was really the "broken" one, really broken, and that Jan was the one to make him come around.

The sex was hot, and there was a lot of it, but this couple knew each other and were actively in each other's lives long before the "hook-up."

:) 3.5 stars

my impressions regarding this story are a little bit awkward.... at first, beginning with...OMG this story is HOT.... sex scenes so explicit!
then a story turns to be a loving, cute, a little bit drama.... and the end kind of END...
it seems had lost the energy that envolves us from the start.

but in the end it was a lovely story that I enjoys very much :)

I found the book boring and forced myself to read most of it. I read all but the last two chapters were i just couldn't force myself to go on. The characters were supposed to be adults but came across as childish. There was a lot of repetition and at times didn't seem to go anywhere.
