I don't think the story is more than 10 pages long.

But it is not about the LENGTH and it is not about WHAT, it is about HOW.

Marshall Thornton is a writing genius and I want everybody knows it.

It’s one thing to know and understand human nature, body language, and foibles. Short and bittersweet - with a little grain of salt.

I can't even explain why I love Marshall Thornton's writing so much, I just do. His words feel so real to me and touch me everytime, even though his style is far from purple or "romantic". Even this story, that is clearly not a romantic novella, broke my heart a little.
