This is a strong adoption themed collection authored by about 50 contributors, loosely grouped into sections such as “Identity”, “Waiting” and “Growing.” I found the contributions by adoptees and birth mothers most affecting. A few items seemed unrealistic, and some poems were hard to “get”, but in general a good and thoughtful book.
