Goodbye Blues, Hello Love by Christie Walker Bos

What a nice break from sex, can you believe it! There was none and I still enjoyed this short funny story.

Sean is a blues player at night and a sanitation worker during the day. He has just moved into his new home and his new neighbors are two meddling twin sisters Rose and Amelia and their best friend Gwen who are all in their seventies. This trio lives and loves to play matchmaker.

Kaylee works at an assisted living community and the only proposal

This was a really short, sweet, fun freebie. I'll probably end up reading it again, just for fun. I loved the characters and the plot. I wish this had been longer and finished the story more, but what I read I liked. There was some humor, sweetness, 'atmosphere', and a great overall feel to the story. A great one-sitter for an anytime read. This was definitely worth reading and a great steal. Enjoy!

I thought this short romance was cute, a quick light enjoyable read. It shows us the elderly matchmakers that I assume are characters in other stories/books by the author, and they are well drawn and fun. The romance itself is a bit easy going, but as there isn't much time to develop character, it's forgivable. I'd like to see other work by this author.

I really liked the great descriptions as I read the story. I could really be there in my mind and since I have a strong mind. Well I just felt there . And I just really enjoyed that.

This is really short. I was really surprised by that. There was still quite a bit backed into it and it has the potential to be an amazing full length novel or as a longer novella.

A nice romance novella...nothing special, but it was fun. Actually interested in reading similar from Ms Bos. Hers seems like a style suited to the shorter form.
