The 5th book in Protecting the Witnesses.

We met Kristin Perry in the first books. She is daughter to Eloise Hill.
Eloise was under protection but when a bomb injures her and her baby, Kristin, she leaves a note for Jackson to place her baby in a Christian home and she goes out on her own.

I loved it all the way up until the end. It had amazing detail that kept me up past 1am because I couldn't put it down. I just had to know what happened next! Then all of a sudden it was over! I said to myself "Is that really it???" It's like the author just got tired of writing the book, so she just stopped where she was and sent it to be published. It was a great book overall, but it could have been so much better.

Well thought out and written story about an adopted young women who loses her older parents and wonders if there is any connection to her birth mother. In seeking info, she meets a man who might be able to help her, but danger lurks at every turn. God uses her faith to lead him to rediscovering the Lord for himself. I enjoyed it@

Disappointing. It started good, and it continued the story line, but it became highly repetitive about halfway through. I was enjoying the characters until that point as well, but the the main became needier and whiny and pushy. It also seemed to end awkwardly-not really resolved...

A total copout of a book - one which grabs at the first, then, at the end, lets down with a "nothing" ending - no denoument at all, but merely a set up for the next book in the series, which is not even by the same autho0r - unless all these writers are Franklin. W. Dixon.
