A quite enjoyable Silverberg sleaze novel with a fantastic cover. Michael Hemmingson's excellent blog already has a detailed summary of this one, so I'm just going to leave a few notes. It has always struck me how authors like Silverberg and Donald Westlake approached the sleaze novel. In some ways, their sleaze novels are more similar to realistic or literary fiction than the novels they wrote 'legitimately.'
