A nicely produced book with step by step color photos. Even a non-artistic type such as myself was able to follow along. There were times when it could have used another photo or two, and times when the photo that is there was taken from a confusing angle, but overall it is much better than other similar origami books. My daughter really enjoyed working through the examples with my wife and I.

Great book for beginners: big glossy photos showing step by step techniques; a set of detailed basic folds at the beginning... I was able to do almost every item in the book, except for the "bookmark".

I am a professional origami artist and author and I've been folding paper for over 30 years. I never cease to be amazed by the geometric possibilities and sheer beauty that lies dormant within a sheet of paper, waiting for the careful hand of the folder to awaken it.

Over the years, origami has brought me many friends, has inspired, amused and intrigued me, as well as being a source of income. It's
